A Messenger who went AWOL Jonah 1-3

When God has got enough, the old saying long runs the fox, just means eventually it will get caught, you could say this is what happened to these people of Nineveh they lived as they liked as if that wasn’t bad enough they sent people into other countries and found as much out about their culture, then they were able to determine the people of that countries weakness so that they were able to destroy them and some of the things they done was inhumane.

In fact, they even had what we would call to-day a library, they had the various countries cultures written on three sides possible stone, possible the countries that they had raped, they knew what they had done was wrong or to use a better word pure evil but they did not care for who was going to stop them 

On a personal note I think it’s wrong to detain someone in prison for a long time without trial, at the same time if they are terrorist they should not be judged by the common law or criminal law, but by marshal law, or army law, for that is what they have declared war on that country and should be executed if guilty.

George that’s a bit strong? we don’t execute people any more we are a civilized people, well tell me what the difference is then when we can go to their country and boom the Hell out of them so to speak? And possibly kill innocent person or people by mistake? while executing the guilty ones

Jonah detested these wicked people of Nineveh the last thing he wanted to do was give them a last warning or a chance to repent I think He would have gone if he had thought God would have sent hail and brimstone as He did on Sodom and Gomorrah, Jonah 4-2 tells the reason why he fled.

Jonah ended up in a boat to the belly of a whale till he was brought to shore.

When God has called you for His service, He might not be prepared to send someone else ———– {be warned} ————————-<<<
